We are committed to helping each client identify meaningful goals, and we work with each client and family to identify and implement plans to achieve those goals. We provide specialized services to individuals who have Acquired Brain Injuries, and related Neurological Disorders, or other physical injuries as well as Children requiring support in the areas of Visual Motor/Visual Perceptual Deficits, Sensory Processing, Self Care, Fine/Gross Motor Coordination, and Apraxia. Shanika, has been providing Occupational Therapy services since 2005. She obtained her Occupational Therapy Degree at Winston Salem State University. During her time as a Therapist she has had the opportunity to work in a wide array of settings including inpatient/outpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Rehabilitation, School-Based, as well as Home Health Rehabilitation. She has focused her experience in the area of Neurological Disorders and Developmental skills enhancement, in the Inpatient/outpatient, and School settings. She is passionate about working with people and feels that it is a blessing to have a career that is rewarding, challenging, and inspiring, where she can make a difference in the lives of others.
